Virtually every basement receives some water entry whether it be in
the form of moisture noted on the walls and/or floor or a noticeable
stream of water running through the basement. Due to many factors,
including foundation material utilized (block, stone, poured
concrete…) and water entry points, there is not one method or product
to fix all of the possible problems. That is why Engineered
Foundation Solutions, PLLC offers many patented products from the
industry leader Basement Technologies to allow us to offer “Custom
Tailored Waterproofing.” |
EFS can work with
any foundation material/configuration: fieldstone, concrete block,
poured concrete, with footer, without footer, crawl spaces,
finished basements, unfinished basements…
Basements are not
built to be water tight. Builders take steps to damp proof
exterior foundations, but do NOT waterproof them. |

Water Trek
- The Water Trek Aqua Route® system is comprised of two
unique patented components. The design enables your Basement
Technologies dealer to solve any situation encountered under the
floor. We can "custom tailor" each system to each subfloor situation
encountered.

The exclusive, versatile, "no clog"
self-washing, adjustable depth system creates a dry basement -
forever! |
Water Grabber
- Most waterproofing systems are done on the inside of the home. When
interior drainage systems are installed, they need a central ejection
device - a way to get the water from the basement to the outside of
the home. The Water Grabber®, Sump Pump
Extraordinaire, is the heart and lungs of our system. |

Alternator
- The Alternator allows you to re-route the discharge point to the
area needed. Our Freeze Stop guarantees the pump will discharge in
freezing conditions. Our Alternator™
gives you the option to direct the water to a different spot in the
yard. |
Freeze Stop
- Most waterproofing systems run on sump pumps. The sump pump
usually runs to the outside of the home. When it gets cold,
exterior discharge lines easily freeze. The pump will continue to
pump, but due to the frozen discharge line, the water will back up
and cause your basement to flood. Not Any More! Our Freeze Stop™
eliminates this from ever happening. |
Finish White
- Finish and waterproof your walls in one step. The Finish White™
panel system makes your basement look like a finished room and
also waterproofs at the same time. |
Hot floor
- Hot Floor™ is a specially insulated padded barrier
installed between your concrete basement floor, plywood and
carpet. It is unique because it actually gives you the warmth and
comfortable feeling of a “hot floor” similar to the top floor of
your home. |
Tank Pro
- A hot water tank rupture can devastate a basement. You've
protected yourself with the best basement waterproofing system on
the planet, you should also protect your basement from unexpected
plumbing breaks. The exclusive design of this product allows it to
be put around washing machines, well water tanks, and any other
water holding device in the basement. So if a disaster happens;
hose on washing machine lets go, or a tank ruptures, the water
will be contained. |
Bon
Aire - Having the Bon Aire System installed will extract
humidity from the lowest point of your dwelling, which is your
basement floor. By extracting this moist cool air, warmer, drier
air will be pulled down from upstairs until the desired, preset
humidity level is reached. In this fashion, it recycles hot air
which would otherwise be lost through normal building leaks. The
system acquires through normal filtration of air throughout the
dwelling via cracks, doors, windows and plugs. |
Air
Mop - The ultimate in dehumidification and clean, dry air for
your basement environment - the combination of the Air Mop®
30 and the Bon Aire™.
The Air Mop®
30 dries the air and removes harmful water vapor. It turns the
water vapor to a liquid and in turn, drains the water to your
Water Trek system or drywell beneath the floor. |
Crawl
Space Solution - Dirt crawl spaces underneath homes, are
another unfortunate common occurrence. Dirt under a home is a bad
concept for the health of your family and home. The dirt tends to
be damp and allows humidity vapors up into the living space
creating potential for mold and mildew, insects and rodents, along
with potential for structural damage to the home. |
|
Fieldstone
Wall Solution - Fieldstone foundation walls are an unfortunate
reality in some older homes. These foundation walls always have
gaps in them, which allow water, humidity, dampness, rodents and
insects to enter the basement. |
